This term we will be traveling back 5000 years to the dusty realms of Ancient Egypt. Cruising along the Nile, entering a world of mysterious, curses, mummies and pharaohs. We will find out about life on the rivers fertile banks, discovering Egypt and its fascinating culture. We will unravel the secrets of ancient tombs and find out about pharaohs and grandiose Gods. If your child would like carry out some additional, independent work based around this topic we would thoroughly enjoy celebrating it in class. Our PE day is Friday, but PE can happen at anytime in the week so please make sure your child's PE kit is always in school.
Spellings are given out every Friday and the children are expected to have read four times a week at home which should be noted in their reading journal.
